Salto-Youth is a network of seven Resource Centres working on European priority areas within the youth field. Established by the European Commission, it aims to enhance the quality of youth work in Europe and support the implementation of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme and the European Solidarity Corps. The centres are each based in different European countries and focus on various aspects of youth work.
- The Salto-Youth Training and Cooperation Resource Centre (T&C RC) specializes in training strategies and the recognition of non-formal learning. It helps in building the capacities of National Agencies and other stakeholders in the youth field.
- The Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centre (EECA RC) focuses on supporting youth work and cooperation between Programme and Partner Countries in the Eastern European and Caucasus region.
- The South East Europe Resource Centre (SEE RC) works on the development of youth work in South East Europe, encouraging cooperation between Programme and Partner Countries in the region.
- The Euromed Resource Centre (EuroMed RC) specializes in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in the youth field.
- The Inclusion and Diversity Resource Centre (ID RC) in Belgium addresses issues of inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunities within the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme.
- The Participation and Information Resource Centre (PI RC) focuses on increasing the participation of young people and enhancing the quality of youth information work.
- The SALTO Cultural Diversity Resource Centre in the UK provides training and information about cultural diversity in youth work.
Salto-Youth offers a variety of services, including training courses, partnership-building activities, thematic conferences, and support for youth workers and organizations. It also provides tools for recognizing non-formal learning and quality assurance in youth work. The network emphasizes the importance of international cooperation and cultural understanding in youth work.
