So many of us are hungry for knowledge. Nowadays, it is easier than ever to find exactly what you need – if only you know where to look. However, if you don’t, it can be a bit complicated and confusing. That’s why, today I’m going to tell you more about some of my favorite platforms you can use for self-education, and most of them are free!
A website that offers a myriad of MOOCs(Massive Open Online Courses), on a bunch of different topics, ranging from history, to art, to computer science. The courses are created by universities all around the world. Odds are, if you have an interest in something, you can find it there. You can either audit the course for free, or pay a fee and receive a certificate.
2.Reddit
Being called the front page of the internet means something. And the mountain of resources you can find there is astonishing. There is a Subreddit for everything, from a pass time hobby, to a complicated science. Here, you can view a list of different Subreddits categorized by what you can learn from them. You won’t get a certificate, but you can definitely enrich yourself.
3.edX
Another MOOC platform, this time created by MIT and Harvard. You can find courses by some of the most renowned universities here, again – covering a huge variety of topics. Similarly to Coursera, you can either audit the courses, or pay a fee and receive a certificate for completion.
An incredible place for young and old alike, Khan Academy offers a deep dive into most school curriculum topics. You can also learn interesting things such as Computer Science, Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship, so it’s definitely something you would want to check out if you want to expand your skill set. There is no official certificate connected to each course, but you can still use the knowledge you pick up for your benefit.
This is a great place where you can expand your knowledge about Digital Marketing, Business, Public Speaking, Social Psychology and many, many more. They are very well-made, and some of them offer a certificate. All of them are free!
This makes up our list of online self education tools. There are many more to be covered, but these are just some that I personally use and I find to be extremely helpful!
